Current Project: Animated Feature Film
I have just started work on a computer animated feature film! This is an exciting project for me, I always wanted to score a fantasy film and here it is! I cannot reveal much about it for now, but I will be keeping a detailed production diary on my blog, so check it out.

Tears of Pirene on CD
My concert piece for saxophone quartet "The Tears of Pirene" is being recorded by the Erie Saxophone Quartet today! I am very excited that this talented group of young musicians have embraced this piece and will be releasing it on their debut CD. > Check them out here.
La Boite completed.
The TV pilot writing went very well and is done. The process was very smooth and resulted in some great tunes. I got to play my guitar and also get some great sounds from the WIVI trumpets and trombones. I wrote a little about it in my blog. > go to blog.
New Piece for the VMO
An arrangement of Blue Drive is in the works for the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra. It will be performed here, in my home town of Burnaby at the Michael J. Fox theatre under the baton of Ken Hsieh. As part of the orchestra I am being mentored by their current composer-in-residence; Canadian film scoring legend, multi Genie award winner, Order of BC and BC hall-of -famer Michael Conway Baker. Excellent!
Heavy Metal Trombones
I recently wrote a piece for the virtuoso trombone quintet "iTromboni". The piece is still in rehearsal mode, but I'll just say this about it: it's heavy metal for trombones - but heavier and nastier. There's even a Kerry King-like trombone solo in there. (Don't know Kerry King? Google him up!)
