About Alain
Alain is a classically trained composer, pianist, guitarist, cellist and conductor. He has worked on over 20 films, his most recent being an animated feature film starring Jackie Chan recorded with a full orchestra.
Alongside his film work, Alain is currently composer-in-residence for the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra.
Alain loves action and fantasy films, but most of all good stories that take you somewhere special, early 20th Century Russian and French composers, Slayer, Django Reinhardt, chicken souvlaki and keeping his two boys up late making up epic bedtime stories.
